You did it again! You made another couple's dreams come true with your wedding magic. Aaron and I wanted to thank you for going above and beyond. With your cheerful smile and optimistic demeanor, you were a pleasure to do business with. Between coordinating the barn set-up, pig roast, and dessert, you took a big burden of stress off our shoulders. We had a dream wedding reception and everyone had a blast!

To anyone looking for an event venue:
Last year my two youngest daughters were married. One in May the other in October.
Both decided to celebrate their special day at the Wedding Barn.
They could not have made a better choice. Jim Kolb was SO nice and easy to work with.
He and his staff are the embodiment of a “can-do” attitude. The barn itself combines a rustic
setting with all of the modern services one would expect from a “fancy” party house.
One daughter was married on the deck and the other at the gazebo. Both locations were ideal
romantic settings.
For me, as host, the best feature is the staff itself. Jim is VERY eager to please and such a NICE
guy and his staff mirrors his personality. They go out of their way to honor any request and ensure
that you have all your needs met. The Nashville Bar personnel who cater the drinks were every bit
as nice (and made sure that I always had a cold Coke ready when needed).
Even a shift in weather conditions, which had us changing from gazebo to balcony and back to
gazebo for the second wedding, did not faze the staff. They had everything moved and ready to go
within 15 min.!
If you are considering the Barn, my message to you is “Book it! Just Book It!”
You'll be purchasing wonderful memories spent at a unique and equally wonderful place.

Food Experience I can't say enough good things about the food!!! We got the whole pig and if you ever get a chance to do that I highly recommend it! Not only was it a photo op, it was done to perfection!! And the mac and cheese was a huge hit!! We had a lot of children at the wedding and it was a favorite of kids and adults
Staff experience I don't remember the name, but he was quick and efficient, it was a lot of food for just over a 100 people and the trays were never empty. He was friendly and answered questions I had

By chance, this was the third time in a week I enjoyed Colby's the quality and consistency of the food and service was spot on.
We changed it up for our rehearsal dinner and tried some different sides. The mac and cheese was a big hit! Our wedding in the barn was absolutely perfect! We wanted a casual, rustic
feel and there was no better place to have our reception. The barn is in the
perfect location (set in the middle of a pumpkin patch and next to an ice
cream/BBQ shop). Our photographer had so many beautiful shots, both inside
and outside, to chose from. Our bridal party and friends danced and sang our
hearts out all night long on the dance floor in the middle of the barn,
while other guests watched from the multiple levels. The charming feeling of
the barn was overwhelming. Thank you for offering such a unique, affordable

The Scott family wants to send their hearty thanks for one of the best meals we have ever enjoyed on Thanksgiving day for our large gathering. I have been one of the chief cooks for this holiday in the past years. After hearing your ad on WYSL Radio in Avon(1040 am), I decided to take a break. Now, I really feel it will become a tradition. The meal was hot, delicious, outstanding turkey!, and the pies, especially the mince pie, were memorable.
I do hope you both had some time to put your feet up after preparing so many meals for your patrons. Again, I plan to continue my patronage for years to come and to share the tales of your great service and delicious food.

I just wanted to take a minute to thank you and your staff for an absolutely fantastic showing at our Mother's 80th birthday party last Saturday. The food was out of this world and there was plenty of it. (I'm still eating pulled pork!) Between my Sister, Mother and I, we heard nothing but raves about how cool it was to actually see the pig on the spit as they came in, s/he was certainly the star of the show (outside of our Mom of course:) Jim they also commented about the great job you did setting everything up. Very neat and efficient! The food was not only very good, it was fresh, hot and different. The broccoli salad was a huge hit and everybody commented about the beans. I don't think many people put ground round in beans, it was just enough to make it unique. I can tell you no one went home hungry!
Returning to work everyone asked me how it went and I didn't hesitate one second to tell them "perfectly", worth every penny and more. I also won't hesitate to call or recommend Colby's in the future for all the reasons stated above. Thanks again for a great job, it was a perfect day all the way around for our Mom.

What delicious food! My husband recently brought home food from a catered luncheon at B&B Manufacturing in Avon. All I can say is “WOW”! If the leftovers tasted that good, I can imagine how super the food was when it was served earlier that day! We had some of your pulled-pork, chicken legs, broccoli salad, baked beans, potato salad and that luscious Apple- cornbread! Talk about melt in your mouth! I don’t think I’ve ever had any cornbread that was soooo delicious before!

We used you recently for a High School grad party. Everything was wonderful. Ordering was easy, pick-up was very efficient, the staff was friendly and the food was AWESOME !! What a spread. We had so many compliments from our guests and there was plenty of everything. We asked for extra pans so we could make steam tables for the hot foods and put the cold foods on ice. It worked out perfectly. After 5 hours the hot food was still hot and the cold food was still cold.....great for those that came late and wanted a meal. We worried about having too many leftovers (or worse yet, running out of food). Not a problem, and we were glad to have some leftovers as it tasted just as good the next day. Thanks again...we will be telling others about you for their parties.
